Our Story
La Boheme began as a small Etsy shop, born out of a love for crafting one-of-a-kind treasures. What started as a passion project soon grew into a community of kindred spirits - people who believe that jewellery should feel personal, soulful, and alive with character.
The journey began almost nine years ago, when I gave everything up - my job, my house - and set out into the unknown with nothing but a backpack. It took courage, but I kept reminding myself to embrace the uncertainty. What I was craving was freedom, and the chance to live a more creative life.
That journey led me to Pushkar, a sacred temple town in Rajasthan’s Ajmer district. Known for its spiritual significance, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant cultural heritage, Pushkar captured my heart. It was here, after long days and nights of work, that I found the right business partners who shared my vision. Together, we built La Boheme - creating jewellery that is ethically made, thoughtfully sourced, and crafted with care.
